Overview
Product overview.
SenseCAP Watcher is a compact AI companion from Seeed Studio that pairs Watcher hardware with the open-source XiaoZhi AI voice assistant. It can see, hear and speak: a 120° camera enables visual wake-up, while a microphone and 1W speaker support natural voice conversations powered by large language models in more than 20 languages.
Built on MCP (Model Context Protocol), it works with Home Assistant and other MCP-capable platforms to control devices such as lights and curtains. Inside are an ESP32-S3 with 8MB PSRAM and a Himax HX6538 AI processor, a 1.45-inch 412 × 412 touchscreen, a scroll wheel, microSD, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5. A Grove I2C port and a 2×4 header allow sensors and motors to be added. It runs on 5 V USB-C power with a 400 mAh backup battery.
